Some properties such as the recurrence relation, explicit formula, and certain symmetric formula are obtained. Moreover, a \(q\)-analogue of generalized translated Whitney numbers of the first kind is introduced to obtain a \(q\)-analogue of the orthogonality and inverse relations of the two kinds of generalized translated Whitney numbers. %9 journal article %R 10.22436/jmcs.024.01.08 %U http://dx.doi.org/10.22436/jmcs.024.01.08 %P 82--96 %0 Journal Article %T Translated Whitney and r-Whitney numbers: a combinatorial approach %A H.
