Common fixed point theorems for a class of maps of \(\Phi\)-contraction in generalized metric spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we prove a new common fixed point theorem for three pair of weakly compatible mappings satisfying \(\phi\)-contractive condition in the framework of generalized metric spaces. It is worth mentioning that our results do not rely on continuity of mappings involved therein. The main result of the paper generalizes several comparable results from the current literature. We also provide illustrative examples in support of our new results.
